The family of a young boy who sustained life-threatening wounds after being hurled from the tenth level of the art gallery have stated their "courageous fighter" has accomplished his objective of being able to swim, run, and jump anew.

The young boy was six when he was pushed off a ledge by a teenager, at that time 17.

He, who was traveling with his parents in 2019 when attacked, survived a 30-meter plunge but suffered life-changing wounds, including a bleed on the brain and shattered bones.

Relatives shared in an update on a donation site, they were happy that he had been capable to improve with his running, jumping and swimming before his forthcoming surgery.

"He is unable to perform like other children his age, certainly, but we cannot describe his actions in any other way than by saying it's jumping, swimming, and running."

Subsequent to a court case at the central criminal court, the youth was convicted of attempted murder and was jailed in 2020 for no less than fifteen years.
